Gwyn Jones
Gwyn Jones (1907–1999) was a Welsh novelist, short-story writer, and translator known for works such as A History of the Vikings and The Norse Atlantic Saga. He also translated The Mabinogion and Icelandic sagas, founded The Welsh Review, and served as Chairman of the Welsh Arts Council. His contributions earned him several honors, including a CBE.
