Her ability to harness earth magic felt so unique, but I wonder if there was more to her powers that wasn’t fully revealed. Did anyone else wish for more depth there?

The boarding school vibe added a lot of charm and tension, but I’m curious whether Richelle Mead drew from real schools or created it entirely from imagination.
