The concept of wishes being stolen felt so unique and intriguing. I wonder what sparked the author's imagination to create this magical threat.

The story took a bit of a detour before ramping up to the climax. Was that intentional to develop the characters or a pacing choice?

The magic system felt well thought out but also flexible. I’m curious whether these rules evolved during writing or were planned from the start.
