The plot seemed to take a breather before ramping up again, which made me wonder if the author wanted to build suspense gradually or if it was a editing choice.

I love the way the setting added to the mood, but I’m curious whether the author drew from personal experience or created it entirely from imagination.

Some twists hit me hard, but I wondered if the timing was carefully planned for maximum impact or if it evolved during the writing process.
