The book has such a dry wit that I wasn't sure whether to laugh or reflect. Did the humor feel genuine and relatable to others?

It’s easy for humor to undercut the seriousness, but here it seemed to enhance the emotional resonance. Did anyone else feel this shift worked well?

The setting feels very lived-in and specific. I wonder if the author drew from personal experiences or observations in modern Britain.
