The world-building felt so immersive and unique. I'm curious whether the author created the magic system first or let it develop alongside the story.

His desire to prove himself and find his place resonated with me, but I wonder what others thought about his character growth through the quest.

The romance added a lighthearted touch, but at times it felt like it slowed down the main adventure. Was that intentional or just my reading experience?
