The characters' wounds felt very real and raw. I'm curious whether this was based on personal experience, research, or a desire to shed light on healing.

There was a lot of emotional buildup, but I wonder if the slower pace was a way to deepen character development or just natural to the story.

The atmosphere added so much to the mood — I’d love to know if the setting was inspired by a specific place or mood the author wanted to evoke.
