Dead Lock

The story moves at a breakneck speed, but I wonder if that was planned from the start or something that evolved during writing. It kept me on the edge of my seat!

The characters often blur the lines between right and wrong, which made me question what I would do in their position. Am I the only one who felt uneasy about some of their decisions?

The gritty, tense environment really amplified the suspense. I'm curious whether Boyd based it on a real place or created it from imagination.
