Criss Cross

The story moves so quickly, with twists that kept me on the edge of my seat. I'm curious whether the pacing was planned out from the start or developed during writing.

The character's internal struggles added depth to the story, but I wonder if others felt the same tension between justice and personal choice.

The city felt very alive and integral to the story. I'd love to know if Patterson drew from real places or created this world from imagination.
