The book seamlessly mixes comedy and suspense, but I wonder if the tone shifted intentionally at certain points or evolved naturally through the story.

The banter was great, but at times it felt like they clicked instantly. Was that a deliberate choice to emphasize their connection or just a rom-com trope?
