The shifting perspectives kept me guessing, but I wonder what inspired the choice to tell the story this way. Did it evolve during writing or was it planned from the start?

While the buildup was intense, some parts dragged a bit. I'm curious if that was intentional to build suspense or if it just happened naturally.
