The Black Flame is such a mysterious and central element — I wonder what inspired the author to make it the core of this volume.

I loved the world-building, but there were moments where I wished the story moved a bit faster. Was that intentional to build suspense?

The art really sets a dark and gritty mood — I’m curious whether it was influenced by specific comics or artists, or if it evolved during the creative process.
