The Shadow House

The way the Shadow House’s past seeped into the present kept me on edge. I wonder if the setting was inspired by real haunted houses or entirely imagined.

The slow unravelling created so much tension, but I’m curious whether the author planned this pacing from the start or let the story evolve naturally.

Her paranoia kept me guessing about what was real and what was paranoia. Am I the only one questioning whether her suspicions were all in her head?
