The way the gods are portrayed as insatiable forces feels so symbolic. I wonder if this was inspired by real-world struggles with greed or resource scarcity.

The characters aren't simply good or bad, which made me question whether survival justifies some of their harsher choices. How did others interpret their motivations?

The mix of mythic themes with a bleak future felt unique. I’m curious whether this blending was planned from the start or evolved during the writing process.
