Snug in Iceland

The descriptions of the snowy landscapes and cozy lodges really brought the book to life for me. I wonder how much research went into capturing the Icelandic winter atmosphere.

The icy backdrop felt both fresh and charming, but I'm curious whether the author has a personal connection to Iceland or just loved the scenery for a holiday story.

While I loved the character moments, the story seemed to linger on details that didn't advance the plot. Do others think this was intentional, to build the cozy mood?
