The eerie, secluded setting adds so much atmosphere — I wonder if it was based on a real place or purely imagined.

The build-up was intense, but I found myself wanting more momentum during the slower sections. Was this a deliberate choice to deepen suspense?

Switching viewpoints kept things fresh, but I’m curious whether it was planned from the start or developed during the writing process.
