The backstory kept me guessing and added so much tension. I'm curious whether this was planned from the start or developed during writing.

Their chemistry was intense, but their actions made me uneasy at times. Am I the only one who wanted to see them find a way to heal?

The contrast made the story more compelling, but I wonder if it was a deliberate choice to keep readers emotionally engaged.
