The characters felt more human than divine or evil, which made the story really stand out. I'm curious if this was inspired by personal beliefs or a desire to challenge traditional tropes.

The moral gray area made it hard to choose sides, which kept me on edge. I wonder if others found themselves sympathizing with characters they initially disliked.
