Priest of Lies

The priest is neither purely villain nor hero, which adds depth to his character. I wonder what inspired the choice to make him so morally complex.

The setting feels so lived-in and oppressive, but it made me curious about how much of the world was mapped out before writing or evolved naturally.

Some parts felt tense and slow, but it heightened the suspense. I'm curious if that was a conscious choice to deepen the atmosphere.
