The pacing kept me hooked, but I wonder if the mystery was planned from the start or developed during writing. Did the story evolve as the characters grew?

The mountain and underground world felt so vivid, I could almost hear the rocks and see the shadows. Was the setting based on a real place or entirely imagined?

It made the story so engaging for younger readers, but I’m curious whether the author aimed to provide both thrills and laughs intentionally.
