The detailed setting adds so much depth to the story. I wonder if Lindsay Buroker mapped out this universe extensively beforehand or let it develop naturally during writing.

The interplay between magical abilities and political intrigue kept me hooked. I’d love to hear if others found it as compelling or if it felt like a slow burn at times.

Their depiction influences the tone of the story a lot. Were the dragons meant to symbolize freedom, chaos, or something else entirely?
