The tension between the characters felt so authentic and gradual. I'm curious if this was a personal favorite trope for the author or if it evolved naturally during writing.

Their antagonism was so intense at first that it made me wonder if I was supposed to sympathize with both sides equally or if the shift was meant to be surprising.

The pacing kept me hooked, but I wonder whether the focus on the romance was driven by plot needs or a conscious choice to develop the characters more deeply.
