Most dragons in fantasy are either majestic beasts or fierce enemies, but here they feel deeply human. I wonder if the author drew from myth, personal imagination, or other sources to craft these personalities.

The detailed magic system and politics made the setting vivid, but I found myself craving more insight into the characters' inner lives. Was this balance intentional?

The shifting viewpoints added depth but also complexity. I'm curious whether this was mapped out from the start or developed during the writing process.
