Watching the characters clash and then slowly open up felt intense, but also emotionally draining. Was that tension part of the plan or just how it unfolded?

The world-building felt so detailed and immersive — I wonder if the author drew from existing myths or created this from scratch.

I was hooked at the start but felt the story lagged at times. Did the author want to give space for character development or was it a pacing challenge?
