With so many characters in the Buffy universe, I’m curious how they chose whose story to highlight and develop in Wolves at the Gate.

The art style has a unique energy that seems to reflect Buffy’s personality—was that a conscious choice by the artists or the writers?

The story kept me guessing, and I wonder how much of the plot was planned early versus developed as the story progressed.
