The rugged landscapes and remote towns add a layer of isolation and tension. I wonder how much the setting shaped the characters' choices and the overall atmosphere.

The characters often operate in shades of gray, making it hard to tell who’s truly right or wrong. Did anyone else find themselves sympathizing with characters they initially disliked?

Some chapters seemed to linger on details, but I’m curious if that was intentional to deepen the tension or just a pacing choice.
