The minimalist style somehow amplified the emotional weight of the story, but I wonder if that was an intentional choice by the artist or a matter of style.

The progression from survival to reconstruction felt very deliberate, and I’d love to know if Nakazawa planned this arc from the beginning or adapted as he went.
