Where the Dead Sleep

The story had such a gripping start and intense ending, but I felt the middle parts dragged a bit. I'm curious if the author intended that build-up or if it was just me.

The atmosphere felt so authentic and layered. I wonder if real places or stories influenced the world-building behind the scenes.

Switching viewpoints added complexity but also kept me guessing. I’d love to know whether that was planned from the start or evolved during writing.
