There are so many influential women in animation history. I'm curious how the selection was made and if any stories were left out intentionally.

Their struggles and triumphs are so inspiring, but I wonder how much of their perseverance was shaped by the era they lived in. Did it make anyone else reflect on current gender barriers?

Their stories seem both unique and emblematic of broader feminist themes. I'm interested in what motivated the focus on this particular group.
