The setting adds so much tension and claustrophobia. I'm curious if the author based it on real places or crafted it entirely from imagination.

The story picked up again quickly, but I wondered if that slowdown was intentional to build suspense or just the natural flow of the plot.

Their pasts seemed to shape their actions in subtle ways. I’d love to hear whether the author planned this character depth from the start.
