The novel beautifully captures the tension between history and personal memory. I'm curious how much of the setting was based on real events versus fictional imagination.

Their struggles to reconcile the past with the present felt very genuine and made me think about how we process grief in our own lives.

The shifting perspectives added layers to the story, but I wonder if it was planned from the start or evolved during writing.
