While I appreciated getting to know the characters, some parts felt a bit slow. Was that intentional to build suspense or a pacing choice I missed?

The blend of alien horror with fantastical elements kept me on edge. I'm wondering if this was a conscious decision to deepen the world-building or to evoke specific emotions.
