The magic system feels both gritty and intricate. I'm curious whether this was mapped out from the start or developed organically during writing.

Those parts added depth but made me wonder if they could have been tighter. Was that intentional to build tension or a natural result of the story's scope?

The character moments felt so raw and real, but I also loved the grand scale conflicts. I wonder how the author approached maintaining that balance.
