The contrast between the peaceful exterior and underlying darkness really drew me in. I'm curious if the author based it on a real place or crafted it entirely from imagination.

The way the characters' pasts intertwined with the present made their pain feel very real. I wonder how much of their experiences were drawn from real cases or research.

The pacing and reveals felt very deliberate, but I’m curious whether the non-linear structure was planned from the start or evolved during writing.
