The world of the Perilous Seas feels so rich and immersive, but I wondered if that was something planned from the start or developed as the story progressed.

While I loved the depth added to the world, I found myself wishing for more action at times. Was that just me or was it intentional to build tension?

The setting feels so vivid and unique — I’m curious whether the author drew from real maritime history or created this world entirely from imagination.
