Their complexity added depth to the story, but I wonder what inspired the author to make them so nuanced instead of purely evil.

The action scenes were intense, but I found myself losing focus during the diplomatic chapters. Was that intentional to build tension elsewhere?

The ending left so many questions open, and I’m curious whether the author planned the series from the start or if it evolved during writing.
