The pacing felt just right, but I wonder if the focus on world-building slowed down some moments. Did the author intentionally prioritize certain elements over others?

Some decisions by the characters made me uncomfortable, but also added depth. I’m curious if this moral ambiguity was planned or evolved during writing.

The world feels so rich and lived-in. I wonder whether the author drew from historical sources or created it entirely from imagination.
