The depiction of the killer's mind was chilling and detailed. I'm curious whether this was based on real cases or entirely fictional.

There were moments where I wondered if I was rooting for the protagonist or questioning their morality. Am I the only one who experienced this ambivalence?

The alternating viewpoints kept the suspense high, but I wonder if that was planned from the beginning or developed during writing.
