Killing Season

The tension built up nicely at first, but then there was a stretch that felt a bit slower. Was that intentional to develop characters or a pacing misstep?

The cold, bleak setting added a layer of atmosphere that really heightened the suspense. I wonder if the weather was a symbolic choice or just a setting preference.

The shifting viewpoints kept me on my toes, but I’m curious whether that was planned from the start or evolved during writing.
