The city’s rich history and complex politics add so much flavor to the story. I wonder how much of the setting was based on real events or personal research.

The characters’ motives felt layered and sometimes conflicting, which kept me guessing. Did this reflect Kanon’s view on espionage or just a narrative choice?

The vivid descriptions really brought the setting to life. I’m curious whether Kanon traveled there for research or relied on historical accounts.
