The world feels so immersive and gritty — I'm curious whether the author built it from scratch or drew inspiration from real mythologies or places.

The moral ambiguity kept me guessing, but I kept wondering how much of that was intentional to reflect the complex world-building.

Both elements are compelling, but I wonder how the author navigated ensuring neither overshadowed the other — or if that was a conscious choice.
