The book balances lightness with serious themes, which isn't easy. I'm curious how the author decided on that tone and what they hoped readers would take away.

The story kept me re-evaluating what I thought I knew about the family. Did the revelations make others sympathize more with certain characters or change their initial impressions?

Switching perspectives added depth but also complexity. I wonder if that was planned from the start or evolved during the writing process.
