The way the characters navigated their feelings felt very authentic, but I kept wondering if it’s possible to truly go back to friendship after falling for someone.

There was a lot of emotional depth in the flashbacks and present-day moments. I wonder if the author based some of this on personal experiences or observations.

The cozy, familiar atmosphere really added to the emotional resonance. Did the author draw from a specific place or personal hometown for this backdrop?
