The depiction of faeries in many stories is simple or mischievous, but here they feel layered and real. I wonder what inspired Brennan to give them such depth.

The way magic works in the story is intriguing — it feels natural but also full of secrets. I'm curious if the author planned this system from the start or it developed during writing.

So many characters are questioning who they are or what they want to become — it made me reflect on my own sense of self. Did anyone else find these moments particularly impactful?
