The atmospheric worldbuilding really drew me in, but I'm curious whether the setting evolved from a specific myth or story idea.

Her moral dilemmas added depth but also made me question my sympathies at times. Would love to hear others' takes.

The romance felt so central yet intertwined with the fantasy aspects — I wonder if that was a conscious choice or just how the story developed.
