Deadlock

The story kept me on the edge of my seat, but I wonder if the author planned the pacing from the start or let it develop naturally during writing.

Their interactions seemed genuine and fun, but I’m curious whether the author based the characters on real kids or created them from imagination.

The story had a nice mix of suspense and excitement, but I wonder if the mystery was designed to be accessible for middle-grade readers or more layered than it seemed.
