Conan the Triumphant

Conan often walks the line between hero and anti-hero, and I wonder what inspired the choices behind his darker moments. Did the character evolve differently than originally planned?

I loved the action scenes, but the slow build-up in certain parts made me curious if that was a deliberate choice to deepen the world or a pacing issue.

The vivid descriptions really brought the worlds to life. I'm curious whether Jordan drew from real-world cultures or crafted entirely new ones for this adventure.
