The backstory of the curse felt hinted at but not fully explained, which kept me curious but also a little frustrated. Was this intentional to build suspense?

The relationship felt intense but the scenes with shapeshifting and danger were equally compelling. I'm wondering if the pacing was planned this way or evolved during writing.

The city felt alive and gritty, blending the supernatural with modern life seamlessly. I’d love to know if real locations influenced the world-building or if it was entirely imagined.
