The illustrations in this manga are so visceral and unsettling — I wonder how much the artist intended to evoke discomfort and dread.

Some scenes felt really raw and intense, almost too close to real trauma. Did that make others feel more connected or just emotionally drained?

The focus on family relationships and inner turmoil felt very deliberate. I’m curious whether the author’s own experiences influenced this approach.
