Conan feels both heroic and ruthless at times — I wonder what inspired Howard to make him so morally ambiguous while still being a hero.

Some parts felt like they paused the action, but maybe they added depth to the world. Was that balance intentional or just how the story evolved?

The world-building really pulls you in, and I’m curious whether Howard based these on real places or let his imagination run wild.
